Facebook went offline for numerous customers on Thursday, with the globe's most preferred social media telling individuals that "something failed".
When checking out Facebook.com, instead of seeing the normal homescreen or information feed, customers were greeted with a blank display as well as a short error message.
" Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can," the message reads.
The interruption started at around 5.30 pm BST however, for many users, appeared to have been resolved around 20 mins after.
