Facebook App Won't Update | New 2019

Got this myself on my phone, and it just refused to update. Here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be an issue that Facebook understand. It's a concern with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Shop concern.

This is what benefited me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear information and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Services > Manage space, Clear all information and Clear cache


It does not harmed if you reactivate your phone prior to you try upgrading facebook once again. And, the set up was SLOW. Simply at least 4-5 mins. But, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or simply await a fix.
