Got this myself on my phone, and it simply rejected to upgrade. Here's what worked for me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook recognize. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Store problem.

This is what helped me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Store, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Solutions > Manage room, Clear all data and also Clear cache


It does not harmed if you reboot your phone before you try upgrading facebook once more. As well as, the mount was SLOW. Just a minimum of 4-5 minutes. Yet, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or merely await a repair.
